Welcome to the East Washington Place website! Thank you for taking the time to visit.

East Washington Place is a proposed urban infill project, anchored by Target, offering expanded community shopping at the southwest corner of Highway 101 and East Washington Street. We are very excited about this project and hope you will be able to learn more as you navigate through the site.

This project has many positive features to help improve the quality of life for all Petaluma residents such as:

Reducing commute time and money spent on gas by shopping locally rather than in other cities.
Bringing the City revenues of more than $2,200,000 annually in retail sales and property taxes for critical public services during these challenging economic times.
Improving traffic congestion by fixing surrounding roads, improving freeway on-ramps, and widening East Washington Street.
Built green by being LEED©-certified using green building techniques including the use of recycled materials, solar power, water conservation measures and pedestrian and bicycle connectivity.
Providing for the Petaluma National Little League fields for the benefit of Petaluma families since 2004 and helping to fund their eventual move to a better location.
